Humberside Police are investigating a report of a burglary on Milton Close, Howden.

Around 11:30am on Thursday 29th October 2026, unknown suspect walks into victims back yard and picks a garden hoe from the side of the shed. Suspect then walks over to victims summer house and tries to open the locked doors. Suspect then leaves the garden and opens the door of the victims unlocked vehicle, suspect searches the vehicle and takes a small pocket knife, a pair of binoculars and 4 pound coins from a tub within the vehicle. Suspect then leaves on foot and tries other vehicles door handles in the street If anyone has any CCTV or saw or heard anything at the time of the incident, then please contact the police on 101 quoting occurrence 26*152786

To assist us in identifying stolen property please consider property marking high value items using Forensic Marking or UV pens.  You are also advised to register property at www.immobilise.com which is a free on-line property register used by police forces nationwide to reunite stolen goods to their owners. All you have to do is register on-line and then upload properties electrical items serial numbers.
